Specializing in Insurance Management for Your Business and Your Life

Our 5 Step Process

After an initial consultation, we will begin the process of developing a strategy for your current and anticipated future needs. To accomplish this we use a 5-step process.

Step 1: Information Gathering

Our goal at Long Term Freedom is to offer you the best possible, fact-based advice to help you reach your financial objectives. In order to achieve this goal, we will talk to you about:

  • Your current financial plan
  • Your family situation
  • Your anticipated needs
  • Your plan for dealing with unanticipated needs
  • Your financial objectives and goals for the short and long term
  • Your risk tolerance
  • Your personal decision-making process

Step 2: Analysis of Current Plans

Next, we conduct a thorough analysis of your current plans including:

  • Risk
  • Limitations and exclusions
  • Contribution methodology
  • Costs (hidden and front-end)
  • Administration

At this stage, we combine the results of our analysis with information gained from our meetings with you to:

  • Identify areas of concern
  • Propose alternatives
  • Discuss long-term implications

We also review all plans to ensure compliance with all federal and state tax laws and regulations. When new legislation is enacted, or current regulations are modified, Long Term Freedom not only apprises you of the changes, we give you the tools necessary to position yourself properly now and in the future.

Step 3: Recommendations

After discussing the information obtained in steps one and two we will present you with recommendations that match to your objectives. Unlike traditional financial representatives, we are not limited to, or incentivized by any one program. That means our recommendations are truly designed to meet YOUR long term goals. Consideration is given to:

  • Flexibility
  • Safety
  • Cost factors
  • Tax implications
  • Your short and long term goals, objectives, and expectations

We will illustrate a variety of employer/employee cost-sharing methodologies and examine the impact of potential change for each scenario.

Step 4: Implementation

We believe this to be one of the most critical phases of the five step process. The best designed plan will not produce satisfactory results if it is not communicated and implemented properly. That's why we:

  • Provide you with the proper prospectus materials
  • Discuss all relevant aspects to the plan with you and your decision making support system
  • Prepare all forms and presentations
  • Facilitate family meetings to discuss the plans if necessary

Step 5: Ongoing Review and Service

Central to all we do at Long Term Freedom is our focus on service and support. Our dedication to service is unparalleled, and our attention to detail ensures your satisfaction. We will help you with ongoing review of information provided by financial institutions. We also perform ongoing analyses of your financial picture to ensure that your plans continue to meet your personal and financial objectives.

Short and long term goals are specifically reviewed during semi-annual meetings and we are always available to answer any questions you may have.
